Grand Forks to Nelson

Grand Forks to Christina Lake was a relative easy 19km run. In Christina Lake we stop to see Tom at Smoochies for a coffee and pastries. Next the Paulson Pass, another significant mountain pass that was made more challenging by the almost non-existent shoulder. At the top of the pass we were faced with strong, cold winds and driving rain that had already started to pool on the road. A situation I wasn’t very comfortable with. Fortunately this didn’t last for long and as we came down the other side we rode out of the rain and back into a sunny day. Between Castlehar and Nelson Deb and Terry pulled the RV over at a pre-determined spot so that I could participate in a friend’s and family Zoom call with my mom for her 100th birthday. Note we are still awaiting the commemorative letter from the Queen.
