MILE 0 – Victoria

Today the cross Canada cycling trip really started at Mile 0 in Victoria. The cycling trip today was short, just 36 km from Mile 0 to Swartz Bay where the ferry departs for the mainland. In that short ride I had my first flat tire, hopefully not an indication of the rest of the ride. Unfortunately only Curtis and I got to make the ride as Paul’s flight was canceled by Air Canada. He didn’t arrive in time to make the ride. The good news was that he arrive in time to join us as we head to the mainland.
