Rather than take the RV into Quebec City David and I take an expensive Uber into a bike shop that had been recommended. At least now, we are armed with the information gleaned from our first bike shop visit. Same story unusual configuration, they think they have a wheel that will work but once again, it won’t. Fortunately, they have another wheel to try. I might add a more expensive wheel but in the end success. Initially they felt they would be able to get us on our way in a couple of hours but that stretched to about five hours and finally they said come back just before closing at 5 p.m. They had it done which was great since they were closed the next day. We had another expensive Uber ride back to the campground.
On a positive note, the day had been wonderful. It was a day off from cycling, two streets over from the bike shop we found a nice patio on a street that had a street festival with live music. David and I spent a really nice afternoon over lunch and a few pints. Even better David paid.
